A leading auto body shop in Missoula is seeking a skilled Automotive Paint Prepper to assist the paint department with reading and following repair orders, covering/masking panels and vehicles for refinishing, and performing quality control checks on metal work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the paint department by reading and following repair orders.
- Covering/masking panels and vehicle for refinishing and preparing unprimed bumpers.
- Color matching, buffing, polishing, and cleaning and maintenance.
- Edging of replacement panels.
- Performing quality control checks on metal work prior to beginning refinish operations.
Why This Position:
- Competitive hourly wage of $17.
- Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Overtime as needed.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits.
- Simple IRA with 3% match.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Frequent standing, kneeling, bending, and stooping.
