Fusion Medical Staffing, in collaboration with Travel Nurse Source, is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to fill a 13-week travel assignment in Paramus, New Jersey.



As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include administering medications, monitoring patients' responses to interventions, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.



About the Position

This assignment offers a competitive pay package, with an estimated salary ranging from $2,033 to $2,449 per week, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to comprehensive benefits, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term disability, and a 401(k) plan.



As a travel nurse with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will also receive a reimbursement for licensure and CEU's, as well as an aggressive refer-a-friend bonus program. Our recruiters are available 24/7 to support you throughout your assignment.



Responsibilities and Requirements



  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes

  • Administer medications as ordered and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures

  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time, if required

  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies

  • Transport patients as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned



Requirements



  • One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Labor and Delivery

  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as follow verbal instructions

  • PC skills and ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment

  • Mental requirements include coping with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure
