We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Parsons. This position requires approximately 75% travel overseas to support Government facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. Additionally, candidates must pass and maintain a medical clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair security systems in compliance with Department of State regulations and contract requirements.
  • Utilize expertise in conduit installation, including both electrical metallic tubing (EMT) and rigid pipe (RGS), to facilitate the wiring and integration of security system components.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in conduit bending techniques to accurately measure, cut, and shape conduit according to project specifications and electrical drawings.
  • Operate power tools and equipment, including drills, saws, and conduit benders, to complete installation tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, including other electricians, security technicians, and project managers, to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while working in US government facilities overseas, adhering to security protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and practices to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and fellow team members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Electrician, preferably with a focus on security systems installation.
  • Possession of at least a Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Ability to pass and maintain a medical clearance for overseas work.
  • Possession of a valid journeyman electrician license.
  • Proficiency in conduit installation, including EMT and rigid pipe, as well as conduit bending techniques.
  • Experience using power tools and equipment commonly used in electrical installations.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings accurately.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor, particularly when working in sensitive government facilities.
