Cyfle is seeking a highly skilled Civil/Structural Engineer II to join our team in the Akron, OH area. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing industrial building structures, including pipe racks, equipment supports, and foundations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Analysis: Develop detailed designs for industrial building structures, including steel structures, foundations, and masonry, using advanced design software such as STAAD and AutoCAD.
  • Project Management: Lead and direct the work of other engineers and designers on designated projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including reviewing designs, conducting site investigations, and analyzing structural failures.
  • Communication: Interface with clients and other engineering disciplines to effectively and efficiently develop Civil/Structural designs and documents.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering; Registered Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain one.
  • Experience: Five (5) to Fifteen (15) years of direct experience as a civil/structural engineer.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, STAAD, AutoCAD, and other engineering software; familiarity with Revit, Civil 3D, and other drafting software is helpful but not required.
