Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team at LEDVANCE. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to user requests and issues via various communication channels.
  • Install, configure, update, and maintain hardware and software components related to the network.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems with computer systems, networks, access points, routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on how to use various network applications and systems.
  • Document and report technical issues, solutions, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff, outsource partners, and vendors to ensure optimal performance and security of the network systems and services.
  • Perform routine maintenance and backup of the network systems and data.
  • Evaluate and optimize network performance data regarding speed, connectivity, and disaster recovery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in providing technical support and customer service.
  • Knowledge of common operating systems, applications, and network protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly.
  • Certifications from reputable organizations such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Redhat, VMWare, AWS, Google, IBM, etc.

  • Relocation and/or work sponsorship are not offered with this position.
  • The position will be located in Versailles, KY with required on-site office hours.
