Job Summary

Adecco is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, and ensuring accurate records of inventory and shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including receiving, inspecting, and verifying contents of packages
  • Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels and shipment status
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve any shipping issues or concerns
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping and receiving procedures, including safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
