Job Summary: The University of Delaware is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a member of our Institute for Community Mental Health, you will be responsible for maintaining a clinical caseload and performing duties such as conducting mental/behavioral health assessments, providing psychotherapy, and attending administrative meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide effective, high-quality, evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy to community members seen at the ICMH Clinic.
Assess, evaluate, and diagnose a wide range of psychological and psychoeducational difficulties.
Formulate case conceptualizations and develop, execute, monitor, and modify treatment plans that reflect evidence-based interventions that can be accomplished in a short-term model.
Maintain legally and ethically sound documentation and electronic medical record practices.
Participate in training program activities, including conducting seminars and supervising the work of graduate students-in-training as directed and in accordance with Institute goals.

Requirements:
Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, preferably from an academic department accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Completion of an APA-or PCSAS accredited internship.
Licensed (or license eligible) in the state of Delaware.
Effective interpersonal communication and team competency skills.
Excellent assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills.
Ability to assess and record symptoms, reactions, and treatment progress.
Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of psychological care.
Ability to use independent judgment; ability to manage confidential information.
Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
Demonstrates an understanding and consideration of the differing needs and concerns of individuals with varying identities, cultures, and backgrounds.
Ability to train and supervise students and community clinicians in evidence-based psychotherapy and assessment protocols.
Bi-lingual English-Spanish preferred.
