Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our team at North Memorial Health. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Responsibilities:- Provide holistic care to patients and families, focusing on independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions.
- Develop and revise patient care plans, coordinate care among disciplines, and delegate activities to other care providers as appropriate.
- Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices.
- Implement personal leadership qualities and skills to promote remarkable patient care.
- Initiate the nursing process to assess patient needs, formulate nursing diagnoses, and plan nursing care.
- Collaborate with patients, families, peers, and other care providers to provide continuity of patient care.
- Assign or delegate tasks as defined by the state nurse practice act, organizational expectations, and according to the knowledge and skills of the designated caregiver.
- Recognize emergent and unsafe situations and respond promptly and effectively.
- Demonstrate awareness of ethical dilemmas and the ability to advocate for patients, families, coworkers, and others in need.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Minimum of 6 months acute care RN experience (required) or specific experience related to applicable units (required).
- Current MN RN Licensure (required).
