Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dental care to inmates, including examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment, and oral hygiene instruction. The Dentist will also be responsible for supervising dental auxiliaries and ensuring that their practice is in compliance with Departmental policies and applicable State law.
Responsibilities:- Provide dental services to inmates, including examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment, and oral hygiene instruction.
- Supervise dental auxiliaries and ensure that their practice is in compliance with Departmental policies and applicable State law.
- Document all care given to inmates according to the guidelines set forth in the Department's Health Care Procedures Manual.
- Ensure that all services provided are consistent with community standards of practice and performed in accordance with customary rules of ethics and conduct of the applicable state and professional licensure boards and agencies.
- Licensure in the Client
