Pharmacy Technician Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician in our Rite Aid team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacies. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our pharmacists in dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter prescription information into our system, including patient searches, prescriber searches, and insurance billing.
  • Retrieve medication from inventory and prepare prescription labels.
  • Assist with maintaining the pharmacy department, including cleaning and organizing the workspace.
  • Contribute to inventory management processes, including order review and restocking shelves.
  • Administer Rite Aid programs and services, such as FlavoRx and Living More.
