USPS Postal Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable USPS Postal Worker to join our team at Apptness. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in a prescribed area, while maintaining professional and effective public relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver mail and packages to customers on foot or by vehicle under varying road and weather conditions.
• Maintain a high level of customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Operate a postal vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Process and sort mail and packages, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Participate in community outreach and education programs, promoting the services and benefits of the postal service.

Requirements:

• No prior experience required, but a strong work ethic and ability to work independently is essential.
• Ability to lift and carry mailbags and packages up to 70 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
