Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure daily pharmacy operations meet customer and patient expectations.
  • Contribute to and develop pharmacy policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and auditing agency regulations.
  • Participate in the interdisciplinary team, providing and utilizing information to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  • Accurately interpret medication orders, compound, and dispense medication preparations in accordance with legal and professional standards.

Work Environment: Our acute rehabilitation hospital setting serves patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, including stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, and more. 80% of our patients are discharged directly home.

Evidence-Based Practice: We utilize evidence-based practice guidelines to treat our patients, analyzing and improving treatment interventions and programs through our national outcomes database.

Professional Development: You will be paired with mentors, attend educational programs, and work with a multidisciplinary team to enhance your skills and knowledge.
