Health First is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) nurse. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge and experience in wound care, ostomies, and continence issues. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, develop and implement standards of care, and participate in relevant committees.
Responsibilities:- Provide advanced nursing care to patients with altered skin integrity, ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, and incontinence.
- Develop, implement, and review standards of care, policies, and clinical pathways related to wound care, ostomies, and continence issues.
- Provide clinical consultations for physicians and staff caring for patients with wounds, ostomies, or continence issues.
- Participate in relevant committees and assume a leadership role as needed.
- Serve as a community resource for support groups to promote continuity of care after hospital discharge.
- Current Florida RN license.
- BSN or related bachelor's degree.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience.
- Current board certification by the WOCN Certification Board.
- Visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, and corrected vision and hearing.
