Armstrong is seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key player in our transportation initiatives, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement of goods, operating tractor trailers or straight trucks, and ensuring the safe and efficient loading/unloading of products. Customer service skills are essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operate vehicles for local delivery, pick-up, and relocation of products and materials.
  • Protect customers' items and property by using pads, tape, and other materials during loading, transit, and unloading.
  • Complete shipment paperwork, including Shipment Inventories and Bills of Lading.
  • Direct packers and helpers to achieve efficient loading/unloading within productivity standards.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, including those set by DOT, OSHA, and the company's safety program.

Estimated salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 per year. If you have prior moving & storage or furniture delivery experience, it's a definite advantage in this role. Join our team today
