Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Restock shelves, rotate inventory, and perform other tasks to maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing store.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up displays and arranging products in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including counting cash, balancing the register, and securing the store.
  • Participate in inventory management, including counting and reconciling inventory, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Assist with special projects and events, such as sales promotions, product launches, and community events.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Store Clerk will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent customer interactions and exposure to various weather conditions.
