About the Role:
MRG Exams is seeking a skilled Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to conduct independent medical assessments for veterans. This role involves reviewing medical records, conducting thorough evaluations, and completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) based on the VA's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
- Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans to document current health conditions.
- Complete and submit DBQs based on VA-specific templates to capture all relevant medical findings.
- Ensure that all DBQs are thorough, accurate, and submitted within 24 hours of the assessment.
- Assess up to four veterans daily.

Schedule:
The selected candidate will work 2 days/week, with required travel within MT. Additional Telehealth days will be allocated.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Possess an active MD or DO license with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Have strong typing skills and attention to detail.
- Be proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data from comprehensive medical records and physical assessments.
- Demonstrate time management skills, completing tasks within deadlines, and maintaining a focus on quality.
- Be dedicated to serving veterans and making a positive impact in their lives.

Requirements:
- Active MD or DO license with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred; candidates with a completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty will also be considered.

Earnings:
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $250,000 per annum, depending on experience.
