Ventilator Respiratory Therapist for Optimized Patient Outcomes

We are seeking a highly skilled Ventilator Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdaptHealth LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide respiratory patient care to ventilator patients in alternate sites, ensuring optimal outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with ventilator patients and possess strong clinical skills, including assessment, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance. A strong communication and interpersonal skillset is also essential for this role, as you will be working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality respiratory patient care to ventilator patients in alternate sites, adhering to AdaptHealth's policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory needs and develop effective plans of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of treatments, medications, and test results.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care and timely interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote patient-centered care and address concerns.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with ventilator experience.
- Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, and sitting for extended periods.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
