We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at The Goddard School of Middleton, MA. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children and helping them develop into confident and joyful learners.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences for children from six weeks to six years old. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with our experienced teachers and administrators to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, promote social-emotional learning, and foster a love of learning in our students.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in young children
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and administrators to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Provide individualized attention and support to children with diverse learning needs
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share children's progress and achievements
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education degree or certification preferred
  • At least 16 years of age and enrolled in high school or GED program, or at least 18 with a high school diploma or GED, or at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to meet fingerprint and background check requirements in accordance with state regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children, and families
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings
