Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for planning, coordinating, providing, and managing nursing care services and health education to our guests. This includes:
- Supervising the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members
- Providing safe and accurate medication-related interventions
- Assessing the health of guests and notifying the physician of changes in status
- Selecting and implementing appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest's condition and/or prevent complications
- Contributing to the guest's assessment (MDS/CAA's) and the development of a plan of care
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state
- CPR certification
