Key Responsibilities- Conduct strengths-based developmental evaluations and functional assessments to identify areas of need and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide physical therapy services in families' homes and community settings throughout Pierce County, utilizing principles of adult learning, trauma-informed care, and knowledge of global child development.
- Implement family education and therapeutic interventions using the child's natural environment and regular routines, with a focus on supporting the child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
- Collaborate closely with the child's early intervention team, medical providers, and community partners to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay informed regarding local, state, and federal healthcare rules, regulations, and policies impacting ethical physical therapy practice.
- Current Washington-state physical therapy license or physical therapy licensure compact.
- Able to obtain a valid Washington state driver's license, automobile for on-the-job use, and automobile insurance.
- Prior experience with Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a focus on engaging with families and children in a supportive and professional manner.
