Job Summary

Olympic Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures by applying ionizing radiation safely to patients for diagnostic purposes, as directed by OMC credentialed radiologists and upon the request of referring providers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiologic procedures, including x-rays, CT scans, and other imaging modalities
  • Apply ionizing radiation safely to patients, following established protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and imaging results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and imaging modalities
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent
  • Two years experience in radiology in a hospital setting preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of specialty theory and application, including concepts, procedures, radiation safety precautions, and effects
  • Demonstrated skill and ability to consistently perform high-quality x-ray imaging and procedures
