Pipewelder Job Description

A-Lert Construction Services, a division of Centurion Industries, Inc., is seeking a skilled Pipewelder to join our team. As a Pipewelder, you will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping and piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for various industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lay out and fabricate piping systems and fixtures according to blueprints and specifications
  • Assemble and install piping systems, ensuring proper connections and fittings
  • Maintain and repair existing piping systems, identifying and addressing any issues or defects
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, using ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment as needed
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements:
  • Journeyman-level pipewelding certification or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 100 pounds)
