Located in the heart of North America, Watkins Glen International is a premier road racing facility that hosts a diverse portfolio of sports car, open wheel, and stock car races throughout the year.

The compensation range for this position is: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and motivated Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver a professional presentation to customers, uphold the ideals and standards of our company, and strive to meet all sales goals and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, respond to questions, and provide outstanding customer service
  • Operate cash register, manage financial transactions, and balance drawers
  • Direct customers to merchandise within the store
  • Maintain an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor
  • Cross-sell products to increase purchase amounts
  • Open/close store and complete daily checklist

Requirements:

  • An associate degree or High School Diploma
  • The ability to read, write, and perform basic math
  • The ability to stand and walk for an extended time
  • Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. frequently
  • Withstanding temperature extremes in indoor/outdoor environments
  • Excellent communication and time management skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Must be able to work in a team environment interacting with multiple departments
  • Must be well organized with attention to detail
  • Must possess a positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism, integrity, motivation, and a very strong work ethic
