We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Surgery team at Lake Granbury Medical Center.
About the Role:As a Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will be essential in implementing the Post Anesthesia Care record, nursing care plan, and assimilation of the patient's hospital record.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement all physician orders and provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
- Continually evaluate patient condition, provide patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
- Strong knowledgebase relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient.
- Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation.
- Care for patients from pediatric to geriatrics.
- Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Two (2) years of bedside experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Previous Pre-Op/PACU, PCU or ICU experience.
Lake Granbury Medical Center is a 73-bed facility providing complete medical care and advanced surgical procedures to Hood, Somervell, and Erath County residents. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and boast an accredited Chest Pain Center, Sleep Lab, and radiology program.
