We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Parks Museum Curator at the Kentucky Department of Parks. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team dedicated to preserving and promoting the state's rich cultural heritage.

• Supervise, organize, and manage the artifact collections at Wickliffe Mounds State Historic Site.
• Coordinate the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) process, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Conduct osteological documentation of human remains and assess archaeological collections for additional NAGPRA materials.
• Develop and implement plans for the discovery, exhibition, storage, access, and research of NAGPRA collections.
• Collaborate with Tribal Nations and other stakeholders to ensure the site's collections are managed in a culturally sensitive and responsible manner.

• Master's degree in a relevant field, such as archaeology, anthropology, or museum studies.
• Experience in osteology, artifact analysis, and archaeological laboratory methods.
• Knowledge of NAGPRA and its application in a museum or cultural institution setting.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
