As a Tree Care Specialist, you will be a vital part of a team, primarily responsible for climbing trees and guiding fellow team members in delivering comprehensive tree and shrub maintenance services for both residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

In the role of Tree Care Specialist, your contributions will include:

  • Executing groundwork, tree climbing, and aerial lift tasks as specified by work orders.
  • Leading team members and assigning tasks effectively on-site.
  • Ensuring safe execution of all arboricultural practices, which encompass:
    • Identifying various tree species
    • Planting trees
    • Pruning techniques
    • Tree removals and crane-assisted removals
    • Cabling and bracing methods
    • Proper maintenance and operation of tools and equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
  • Comprehending and adhering to all safety regulations and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • A strong enthusiasm for nature, the environment, and outdoor activities.
  • Certification as an Arborist is preferred.
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in tree climbing (using DRT or SRT techniques) and aerial lift operation within the tree care sector.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record; capability to operate a manual transmission is required (Class A CDL is preferred).
  • Willingness to work outdoors throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions.
