Key Responsibilities- Unload and Store Merchandise: Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stock and Store Merchandise: Efficiently stock and store merchandise in appropriate areas, ensuring that inventory is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using a forklift, reach truck, walkie, or other material handling equipment.
- Pull and Prepare Product for Shipment: Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of product are loaded.
- Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Keep accurate records and reports for inventory accuracy, ensuring that discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Comply with Safety Regulations: Comply with all OSHA regulations and MSDS standards, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Report Quality Variances: Report any quality variances or issues to management, ensuring that corrective action is taken promptly.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Maintain the facilities, equipment, and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Assist with Physical Inventories: Assist in physical inventories, ensuring that inventory is accurately counted and recorded.
- Ensure Proper Stock Rotation: Ensure that stock is properly rotated, ensuring that older inventory is sold or used before newer inventory.
- Conduct Operations in a Manner Promoting Safety: Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety, ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with established procedures.
- Education: High School or GED recommended.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems, knowledge of RF Scanner, and ability to push, pull, lift 55 LBS continuously throughout the shift.
- Certifications: Must pass and maintain industrial lift truck certification.
This position is located primarily in an office environment, with occasional exposure to a manufacturing environment. The associate may be required to sit for long periods of time and may need to lift and carry loads up to 20 pounds.
