Defense Litigator

We are seeking a seasoned Defense Litigator with expertise in Medical Malpractice and Long Term Care defense litigation to join our team at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.

To excel in this role, you will need:

• To be admitted to practice law in the State of Kentucky
• To possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• To have excellent research abilities and written and oral communication skills

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Drafting initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, trials, and appellate activity
• Drafting discovery and responding to discovery
• Drafting and responding to discovery-related motions
• Regularly attending court appearances
• Taking and defending depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses
• Drafting motions for summary judgment
• Having 1st or 2nd chair trial experience
