As a Nurse Manager of the Blood Cancer Unit, you will play a critical role in leading our team of healthcare professionals to provide compassionate and innovative care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all department functions to support the hospital's mission and goals.
  • Identify cost-effective systems to support the business of the department, considering business trends, resource availability, and changes in customer needs.
  • Establish effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors.
  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction data and employee involvement.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to meet facility and unit goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Five-year management experience, including personnel management, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, physician relations, and supervisory positions.
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license required.
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Provider American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
