Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Support Specialist to join our team at Twin Rivers Unified School District. As a key member of our instructional support services, you will play a vital role in providing specialized instructional support to individuals and groups of Special Education or Severely Handicapped students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide instructional support to students with special needs, applying significant para-professional health care services or behavior interventions as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Assist students with daily living skills, academic tasks, and behavioral interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; experience working with students with special needs preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and First-Aid/CPR certification required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
