Bilingual Therapies is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Portland, Oregon. As an RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs for clients with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Implement ABA Therapy Programs: Develop and implement individualized ABA therapy programs based on treatment plans developed by the BCBA, with a focus on helping clients acquire new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and record data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions, and collaborate with the BCBA to adjust treatment plans and interventions based on client needs.
- Client Support and Education: Provide support and education to clients and their families on ABA therapy techniques and strategies, and work collaboratively with the BCBA to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and BCBA to ensure that therapy goals and objectives are met, and collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred. Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Experience and Skills: Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Reliability and Flexibility: Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to client locations as needed.
- Competitive Compensation: Weekly competitive compensation (W-2) with a range of $20-$35 per hour depending on experience.
