OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of firewall security frameworks and identify vulnerabilities.
  • Establish security protocols by analyzing organizational strategies and operational needs.
  • Evaluate suitable security assurance levels to safeguard information assets.
  • Review security policies and emerging threats in the cybersecurity landscape.
  • Recommend preventive measures, including SSL encryption/decryption methodologies, vulnerability management profiles, content filtering, and perimeter defense mechanisms.
  • Assess the potential impact of novel threats and exploits, and devise expert firewall solutions to counteract these risks.
  • Identify risks associated with critical applications and propose effective security measures.
  • Communicate identified risks to relevant departments within the organization.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Total IT experience of 14 years, with a minimum of 8 years specializing in Intrusion Prevention Systems and Tools. Profound experience in conducting Cyber and Technical Threat Analyses. Knowledge of Security Regulations and Standards is essential. Proficient in monitoring and responding to malicious activities, alongside conducting cybersecurity investigations. Capable of performing technical and forensic inquiries.
Develop playbooks for security incidents. Analyze system services, operating systems, networks, and applications to mitigate potential cyber threats. Automate processes utilizing scripting languages (Python, batch, etc.). Generate reports to extract data from SQL databases (SQL). Design SIEM dashboards to enhance data visualization and event monitoring.
