Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Research Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for providing general nursing care to study participants, reviewing and executing clinical research protocols, and completing and maintaining study documents in accordance with sponsor and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provides general nursing care to study participants, including monitoring of vitals, blood sugar, and lab tests
- Reviews and executes clinical research protocols
- Completes and maintains study documents in accordance with sponsor and site requirements
- Recruits potential study subjects and screens them for eligibility
- Schedules study participants for assessments and completes Case Report Forms
- Accompanies sponsor representatives during visits and maintains effective communication
- Maintains adequate inventory of data and supplies
- Attends training meetings, staff meetings, and other meetings as assigned
- Observes, documents, and reports adverse events and serious adverse events
- Conducts informed consent process and follows up on laboratory results
- Maintains safety standards and ensures proper collection, processing, and shipment of laboratory specimens
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a current license in CA
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Must have good interpersonal skills and be self-motivated
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations

Working ConditionsThe Clinical Research Nurse will work in an indoor, clinic environment, with essential physical requirements including sitting, typing, standing, and walking. The position is lightly active, with occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
