Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sanitation Technician to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all areas of the manufacturing plant are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as foamers and chemicals.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).
  • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain safety while performing tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential sanitation issues and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure all sanitation standards are met.
  • Report any equipment or maintenance issues to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a sanitation role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, including foamers and chemicals.
  • Knowledge and understanding of GMP, HACCP, SQF, and SSOP.
  • Demonstrated ability to use PPE correctly and safely.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work a 2-2-3 schedule from 4p-4a.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
