Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Badger Building Center. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and working collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with product selection and answer questions about products and services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Process customer transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the showroom, samples, and literature.
  • Stock shelves with incoming merchandise and maintain assigned areas.
  • Assist with store cycle counts and inventories, ensuring accurate system information.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
  • Assist with customer challenges, such as credits, returns, exchanges, and service problems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as a team and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Basic understanding of contractor sales process and product offerings.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and Point of Sale Programs.
