Key Responsibilities

As a faculty member within the Patricia H. Garman School of Nursing, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing, and assessing educational programs in a collaborative governance framework.
  • Utilizing a variety of active teaching methodologies tailored to accommodate diverse student learning preferences, including lectures, lab/clinical instruction, and online/hybrid courses.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A doctorate in nursing or a closely related field from an accredited institution (preferred).
  • A Master's degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program.
  • An unencumbered RN license to practice in New York or eligibility for licensure in New York.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Three to five years of academic experience in nursing within higher education, demonstrating a record of teaching, service, and research.
