We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Old Town Pharmacy Number 2 LLC. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and verify written and faxed prescriptions, inputting the information into our system as needed.
- Maintain proper storage and inventory of all medications in the pharmacy, ensuring accurate logging and tracking.
- Receive and verify incoming inventory, logging it within the system and putting it away as needed.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records, including patient profiles, inventory logs, and other essential documents.
- Accept payment for prescriptions and small transactions, providing excellent customer service and handling customer inquiries.
- Assist with sterile and non-sterile compounding, as well as help with vaccinations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed.
- Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology is desired.
