Job Overview

A Quality Assurance Technician plays a crucial role in upholding quality standards throughout the production process. This position involves rigorous testing of products and meticulous documentation and analysis of results during both development and manufacturing phases. Reporting directly to the Epoxy Coating Supervisor, the technician ensures compliance with established processes and maintains high production quality while monitoring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.


Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with potential overtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating and updating company inspection documentation.
  • Conducting inspections of products to meet quality and safety regulations.
  • Verifying that products adhere to company standards as well as federal and state regulations.
  • Ensuring that testing equipment is properly calibrated and functioning.
  • Reporting any quality discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Gathering test data and preparing quality reports.
  • Identifying opportunities for enhancement in quality control procedures.
  • Facilitating production without delays due to quality testing.
  • Monitoring product integrity and quality while maintaining production rates.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar managerial role.
  • Strong visual acuity and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in report writing and data compilation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Capable of analyzing and interpreting technical data.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
  • Exemplary organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items.
  • Solid understanding of mathematical principles.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Awareness of safety protocols in warehouse and manufacturing environments.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED, along with a 2-Year Trade School education or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Project Management, and Analytics software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
