Experienced Woodworker Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and experienced woodworker to join our team at Skilled Trades Services. As a carpenter and cabinet maker, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality custom auto show displays, trade show exhibits, and museum properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate cabinets from scratch, utilizing your expertise in woodworking and cabinet making.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials accurately, ensuring precision and quality.
- Read and interpret tape measures and blueprints effectively, applying your knowledge of woodworking techniques.
- Layout, cut, and assemble wood components with precision, demonstrating your attention to detail.
- Operate a variety of woodworking machines, hand tools, and power tools, showcasing your versatility and adaptability.
- Build, repair, and install items such as cabinets, countertops, shelving, moldings, and partition walls, applying your skills in carpentry and cabinet making.
- Install hardware, including hinges, handles, catches, drawers, pulls, and slides, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Must be proactive and ready to work diligently, demonstrating a strong work ethic.
- Extensive experience with finished work, including laminates, melamine, and moldings, showcasing your expertise in woodworking and cabinet making.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions, demonstrating your ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong team player with good communication skills, able to collaborate with colleagues and management.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as required, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability.
