Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the design and management of software architecture within client projects.
- Provide expert guidance to program-level software architects.
- Act as a primary liaison with clients during critical reviews and technical demonstrations.
- Collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure alignment with client program requirements.
- Lead the investigation of issues impacting software and hardware architecture.
- Contribute to the creation of CONOPS for new systems, offering strategic insights into application architecture and design.
- Assist in tracking essential roadmaps and deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 11 years of experience in software development.
- Proven experience as a software architect.
- Strong grasp of architectural design principles and governance.
- Experience in developing requirements and supporting system integration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with software architecture tools and methodologies.
- Proficient in various messaging and communication protocols.
- Ability to articulate an architectural vision and execute plans effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of Digital Engineering principles, including Model-Based System Engineering and DevOps practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
- Deep technical knowledge of the IT Development stack and DevOps pipelines.
- Expertise in security accreditation processes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in architecting and developing data management systems.
- Background in transitioning software to new platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies.
