Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Altru Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $42.72 per hour, plus up to $4.25 per hour differential pay and shift pick-up incentive. You will have the opportunity to work in a brand-new hospital in 2024 and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k match and student loan repayment program.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, assessing their physical, psychological, social, educational, developmental, and rehabilitative needs.
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on patient assessments, setting goals and implementing interventions to meet those goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and promote effective communication among team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in North Dakota or Compact State Agreement.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
