POSITION SUMMARY The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in supporting the nursing process and operates under the guidance of the Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner, and/or Professional Registered Nurse. The LPN is expected to comply with the policies and procedures established by Berkshire Health Systems' clinical services. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are necessary unless otherwise specified.) Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
Should possess a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles and practices.
Proficiency in managing multiple phone lines and exceptional clerical/organizational skills are essential.
Experience in a physician's office is preferred. Education and Training: Must have graduated from an accredited School of Practical Nursing. License, Certification & Registration: Must hold a current Practical Nurse license in Massachusetts.
CPR certification is mandatory. Additional Requirements: Must demonstrate ongoing education in accordance with state regulations.

Preferred skills include data entry proficiency.
A working knowledge of Windows and PC applications is required.
Ability to work autonomously while also taking direction is necessary.
Must be self-motivated with the capability to be independent and adaptable within a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Must demonstrate the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
