Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in Santa Rosa, California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Competently perform routine and specialized breast procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient privacy and safety.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist and RHM-Radiology Mammography certifications upon hire.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification upon hire.
- 2 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- General knowledge of diagnostic mammography principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
