Job Overview

Troon International is seeking a dedicated Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in a customer-centric environment, demonstrating a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our valued guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor and adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist golf professionals with the check-in process for golfers, ensuring an efficient tee sheet management and pace of play.
  • Support the receiving of merchandise and follow purchase order protocols.
  • Help maintain attractive shop displays and assist in inventory management.
  • Keep the stock room organized and collaborate with the buyer and other staff to ensure cleanliness and order in the golf shop.
  • Participate in pricing merchandise and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Head Professional.
  • Deliver exceptional service by going above and beyond to meet guest expectations.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Skills: Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height.
  • Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Repetitive motion, including computer entry.
  • Safe operation of a golf car.
  • Normal vision and hearing are required.

Experience: Relevant experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications: None required.
