Job Summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a skilled CDL Class A Driver to join our team. As a Tractor Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer truck on assigned routes to collect and transport solid waste and recyclables in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate tractor-trailer truck and on-board hydraulic systems on assigned routes to collect and transport solid waste and recyclables.
  • Ensure all loads are secure and properly closed.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports.
  • Communicate with customers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow all safety standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
  • Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
  • Ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer truck and on-board hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions
  • Frequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, and extreme weather conditions.
  • Work in outdoor environment up to 100% of the time.
  • Occasionally work in high precarious places.
