We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Nurse Residency Program Coordinator to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in supporting the transition of new graduate nurses into professional practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to new graduate nurses in their first year of practice, assisting them in developing the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their roles.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and other stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive nurse residency program that meets the needs of our new graduate nurses.
- Develop and deliver educational programs and resources to support the professional growth and development of our new graduate nurses.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the nurse residency program, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Experience in nurse residency program development and implementation preferred.
