Firstat Medical Staffing is in search of a traveling Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) for an exciting opportunity.
Position Overview- Specialty: Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS)
- Field: Allied Health Professional
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Shift: 8-hour evening shifts
- Employment Type: Travel
- Requirements: A valid CA CLS license is mandatory. A minimum of 1 year of Clinical Microbiology experience is essential, preferably in a hospital setting. Candidates must possess at least 1 year of experience in a microbiology department; molecular biology experience is not an acceptable substitute.
Applicants should have demonstrated expertise in interpreting Gram Stains, particularly Positive Blood Cultures, AFB Stains, KOH Stains, and Fungal Stains. The position involves working evening shifts from 4 PM to 12:30 AM, with rotating weekend duties, including every other weekend. A willingness to work during holidays is also required.
