**Job Summary**
Girl Scouts San Diego is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Outreach team as an After School Program Facilitator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of girls in grades K-5 by leading fun and engaging after-school programs and activities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and lead after-school programs and activities for groups of girls in grades K-5, focusing on areas such as arts and humanities, STEM, life skills, leadership, health & wellness, community service, and financial literacy.
- Empower girls to develop their leadership skills through engaging group activities, discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences.
- Assist in planning and creating programs and presentations for community groups and organizations, as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the success of after-school programs and activities.
- Monitor group behavior and resolve minor conflicts in a responsible and professional manner.
**Requirements:**
- Availability to work at least 3 days a week, between 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
- Ability to work well with and engage youth in grades K-5.
- Responsible, organized, and creative individual with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly dependable and regular in attendance.
- Able to lead age-appropriate songs, games, program activities, and group discussions.
- Reliable transportation and ability to drive to/from assigned school or worksites.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Ability to attain CPR/First Aid Certification.
