As a Behavioral Therapist Specialist, you will be responsible for improving the lives of our clients through evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessments and goals. Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on data analysis and client progress.
  • Supervision and Training: Provide direct supervision, training, and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other team members, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
  • Clinical Expertise: Design and oversee the implementation of evidence-based ABA interventions, conduct initial and ongoing assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and develop measurable and realistic goals and objectives that align with client and family priorities.
  • Families and Caregivers: Conduct parent and caregiver training sessions to ensure the effective application of ABA strategies at home and in the community. Provide ongoing education and support to families, helping them understand and manage their child's behavior.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field (for BCBA). Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). State licensure, if required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience providing ABA services, including supervision. Experience working with individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Skill Set: Strong understanding of ABA principles and methodologies. Excellent data analysis and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
