Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Breakfast Host to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kingsland, GA. As a Breakfast Host, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a positive experience during their stay with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Breakfast Service: Set up and maintain the breakfast bar in an attractive, abundant, and organized presentation.
- Inventory Management: Take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day and order or purchase as necessary.
- Food Preparation: Prepare foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clear and clean tables as they are vacated, wipe up spills, remove trash, and restock self-service food and supplies as needed.
- Housekeeping: Vacuum and sweep carpets and floors, mop floors, dust and clean furniture, and inspect areas for safety hazards and equipment operating conditions.
- Guest Service: Provide excellent guest service and wear proper clothing based on company policy and brand standard.
Requirements
- Experience: One year of hostess experience in a restaurant is required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Prior hospitality experience, customer service experience, and knowledge of health department standards of food sanitation and safety practices.
